On the Geometric Origin of the Proton: Charges, Structure and Mass from a Three-Axis Closure
Year: 2026
Type: preprint
Abstract: Public Summary & Abstract This repository holds the timestamped deposit of the manuscript "On the Geometric Origin of the Proton: Charges, Structure and Mass from a Three-Axis Closure" within the framework of the Micro-Curvature Model (MCM). The paper demonstrates that the fundamental static and structural properties of the proton — including internal fractional charges, color symmetry, charge radius, magnetic moment, and rest mass — emerge strictly from a 5D elastic-vacuum boundary geometry without fitting parameters or postulated constituent fields. Key Quantitative Derivations (Zero Free Parameters): Symmetry & Fractional Charges: Structural emergence of the SU(3) torus normalizer symmetry and the fundamental charge triplet (+2/3, +2/3, -1/3) for a total unit charge Q = +1. Proton Mass (m_p): 937.3–937.4 MeV (measured: 938.27 MeV, deviation -0.10%). Proton-to-Electron Mass Ratio (m_p/m_e): 1834.5–1834.6 (measured: 1836.15, deviation -0.09%). Charge Radius (r_p): 0.843 fm (measured: 0.841 fm, deviation +0.2%). Magnetic Moment (mu_p): 2.787–2.793 mu_N (measured: 2.7928 mu_N). Landé g-factor (g_p): 5.57–5.58 (measured: 5.586). Magnetic Radius: 0.842 fm (measured: 0.851 fm). Structural & Topological Highlights: Three-Axis Closure: Beyond the Michell buckling threshold, non-coaxial topological closures split the wave momentum onto three orthogonal spatial axes. Two-Scale Framework: Spin (hbar/2) is anchored within the compact dimension box of the composite state, while the electromagnetic current circulates along a tight knotted boundary. Stationary Charge Density: The observed uniform static charge density is derived as the exact time-average of the rectified non-orientable wave perturbation. Access to the full PDF manuscript and associated validation scripts is currently restricted. This deposit serves as a formal, timestamped priority record of the MCM hadronic derivation.
