CO2 Theory Is Wrong, But You Don't Need That, for The Scam Stands on Its Own

Abstract: This paper examines whether carbon dioxide is the dominant driver of planetary warming. It separates what Tyndall measured in eighteen fifty-nine from the three-to-five-degree catastrophe the models sell, and asks what happens to the taxes, credits, scores, and patents if that number is wrong. It traces the narrative from Arrhenius calling warming a gift, through Callendar ignored during a cooling era, to Hansen's nineteen eighty-eight testimony — the year the IPCC and UNFCCC assembled, not the year the data changed. It profiles the insiders who pushed back: Lindzen's iris, Spencer and Christy's satellite record, Shaviv's Veizer correlation, Svensmark's ionization chain with CERN's CLOUD results, Dyson's cloud critique — each respected until they asked the cloud question, then labeled. It argues the models freeze solar output as a constant while the sun's cycle swing is more than half of CO2's claimed forcing, and that cloud feedback — the largest uncertainty in the IPCC's own tables — is an assumption imposed because the model needs it, not a mechanism derived from physics. It examines the surface record as a reconstruction: homogenization that cools the past and warms the present, the nineteen thirties heat the raw data still shows as unmatched, the bucket-to-engine-intake ocean switch, urban stations standing in for rural ones. And it closes on motive — the same foundations funding the research hold the instruments the research justifies, the ninety-seven percent consensus built on keyword searches, Climategate emails public and the investigations run by the employers. The epilogue notes that no manifest will surface through FOIA, and that three treaties banning weather modification across five years on two continents legislate against a tool, not a myth. [But, I should warn you, this is no time for complacency. No, there are still many things, and I cannot emphasize this too strongly, not on top of other things.]
