Abstract: Cost-efficiency is highly valued everywhere. The enhancement of the processes and services that form the supply chain are the milestone that foresee this global recession. The initial investment on a reusable plastic packaging system, in pallets and plastic containers, as well as inbound and outbound freight are highly justified by product preservation, material handling, expendable packaging disposal, transportations efficiency and storage savings. It is common to find more applications with reusable packaging systems on articles and small parts, for instance: groceries, agriculture products, internal shipments, warehouse shipments to stores and automotive parts to assembly. The result is the reduction of inventory and as a matter of fact, the reduction on time delivery and cost efficiency. The final result is an effective and efficient customer response. This research focuses on the analysis of the discount, sales volume, wages and turnover variables, resulting in an increase of cash flow, breakeven point, EBITDA and TIR. The basis for analysis lays on the cost-sales-profit model. Three scenes presented through a statistical measurement of the central tendency of a set of TIR data from the independent variables. The considerations to evaluate financially the reusable plastic packaging supply management system business include: cost/effective estimations, risk analysis, goals set up, break even points, financial indicators and a strategic investment plan. The result, is a financially able company/business.
