Abstract: At the University of Constance the number of courses in information literacy has been extended and integrated in the BA curricula over the last few years. These new courses are organized by the subject librarians of the university library. The classes are accepted very well by faculty and students, who can take them for credit. At the same time the information literacy project, which is funded by the University and the state of Baden-Württemberg, came into place. The goal is to develop a flexible set of instruction modules for information literacy courses and supportive E-learning units. For further information see http://www.ub.uni-konstanz.de/ik/
