Abstract: The publication presents the causes of complaints about metallurgical products, illustrated with an example of steel sheets, with a particular focus on the reasons having their source in the human factor. The publication has been based on direct research and analysis of complaints made available by a metallurgical plant. The obtained results have been enriched with theoretical considerations on quality management systems for metallurgical products.
