Abstract: Following Michel Henry’s ideas on phenomenology and art, we analyze the essence of the aesthetic object as affectivity in opposition to some studies that treat it as intentional consciousness. In such a way we try to elucidate the statement that says that “without vibrancy there is no art” (Kandinsky)
