Abstract: In this article, Massimo De Angelis examines the relationship betweensocial struggles against capital’s enclosures, commons and capital. In particular, itis argued that these struggles can be viewed both as an obstacle for capital accumulationand „a process of production of an ‚outside’ of capital’s social relations”. Accordingto the author, diverse community struggles can give rise to alternative formsof value practices which can be interpreted as an „outside of capital”.
