Microfluidic Systems to Enable Enzyme Engineering for Chemical Synthesis
Description: PROJECT NARRATIVE Development of medicines requires technology for rapid and efficient synthesis of new molecules. This project will develop of a novel platform for high-throughput reaction development and discovery based on engineering enzymes using nanoliter droplet technology and high-throughput analytical systems compatible with organic reactions. By providing access to enhanced throughput and miniaturization, this technology will accelerate pharmaceutical discovery and development in a time and resource efficient manner.
