Elucidating Germinal Center-Mediated Antibody Evolution

Description: Project Narrative Antibodies are a key part of the immune system that can neutralize and eliminate pathogenic threats. The proposed research is relevant to public health because it will provide a fundamental understanding of the mechanisms underlying antibody maturation toward pathogen recognition. This is important for our grasp of how our immune system responds to infectious threats as well as to vaccination.
