Dynamics of the FOXO transcription factor network

Description: Project Narrative FOXO protein activity has been linked to extended lifespan, decreased cancer risk and cancer cell death in response to targeted chemotherapy treatment. This study will provide novel insights into how FOXO proteins sense and respond to both targeted chemotherapy treatment and other types of cellular stress. Our ultimate goal is to use this information to manipulate FOXO activity to increase the efficacy of targeted therapies.
