NAD+/NADH ratio, protein acetylation and mitochondrial function

Description: NARRATIVE The proposed study will determine the role of NAD+/NADH ratioin regulating protein acetylation and mitochondrial function in the heart. By manipulating NAD+ level in the failing hearts, we seek to identify and target novel NAD+/NADH sensitive mechanisms for heart failure therapy.
