Integrated multi-omics approach to identify early protein biomarkers in Alzheimer's disease and cognitive decline

Description: NARRATIVE/PUBLIC HEALTH STATEMENT: Alzheimer’s disease affects 6 million Americans, and yet nearly all clinical trials for new treatments have failed. This project is designed to identify plasma proteins associated with Alzheimer’s disease and with rate of cognitive decline, which may help identify people at risk for future Alzheimer’s disease and may inform targets for novel therapeutics.
