RBPMS, a novel RNA splicing regulator of cardiac function and disease
Description: Project Narrative RNA posttranscriptional modifications emerged as a key regulatory component of cardiac gene expression and function, influencing various cardiovascular diseases. RBPMS is a novel regulator of RNA posttranscriptional modification in the heart, modulating heart function and disease progression. Through the study of RBPMS, the proposal aims to gain insights into the fundamental mechanisms whereby RNA binding proteins regulate cardiac function and develop new potential therapeutics for cardiovascular disease.
