Abstract: This is an analysis in regards to the construction of the indigenous political mobilization from the theoretical paradigm of the school of the “Structure of Political Opportunity”. The purpose of this paper is to explain that despite the conditions of extreme poverty, demographic crisis as well as sociopolitical exclusion of the indigenous groups of the countries of Latin America, a favorable context would provide them with the possibility of getting their sociopolitical and economic objectives. This paper attempts to describe one of the most important variables that have affected the construction of these political mobilizations in Latin America during the last two decades
