Abstract: A pesquisa promove o estudo e a reflexão sobre a prática cultural ucraniana de colorir ovos, conhecidos como pêssankas, e tem como objeto de pesquisa, o trabalho realizado no Município de Prudentópolis (PR), pelos descendentes de imigrantes da Ucrânia, que através de sua arte fazem com que essa tradição permaneça. O trabalho realizado em torno desse costume é acompanhado por pesquisa fotográfica e descreve a simbologia das cores e dos desenhos utilizados, com enfoque sociocultural. Palavras-chave: Pêssankas. Photographic study on the History and symbolism of Pêssankas and stay in ukrainian cultural Prudentopolis/PR Summary This research promotes the study and reflection on practice Ukrainian cultural coloring eggs, known as pêssankas, and has as its object of study, the work done in the city of Prudentópolis (PR), the descendants of immigrants from Ukraine, which through its art make this tradition get residence status.
