The Construction of Customized Two‐Stage Tests

Abstract: In this paper mixed integer linear programming models for customizing two‐stage tests are given. Model constraints are imposed with respect to test composition, administration time, inter‐item dependencies, and other practical considerations. It is not difficult to modify the models to make them useful in constructing multistage tests.
