Abstract: A relatively simple electronic device is described which permits continuous observation of the short‐circuit current flowing in a galvanic corrosion cell. The device is particularly useful for measuring currents from low‐resistance cells, where the internal resistance of a micro‐ or milliammeter would be excessive. The corrosion cell current is automatically held at that value which maintains the cell voltage at .
