Abstract: HGD with PPI usage was calculated to be 54%.(OR: 0.46; 95% CI: 0.35-0.6)(Figure 1).Even with the addition of the negative result study of Hvid-Jensen et al. to the meta-analysis, we can conclude that PPI usage still seems to reduce the risk of OAC and/or HGD in BO.Therefore, PPI therapy can be still considered for chemoprevention in patients with Barrett's oesophagus.
