Abstract: A deep 0.4-GHz survey of a 4°-diameter region in Hercules is reported. 232 sources brighter than 9.5 mJy were detected. In a simultaneous 1.4-GHz survey of the concentric area 1° in diameter, 45 sources brighter than 1.7 mJy were detected. The differential 0.4-GHz radio source count is presented; it is in good agreement with that from other 5C surveys. This survey brings to 3220 the number of 0.4-GHz sources catalogued by the published 5C surveys.
