Contemplation of the definition and the attribution of sports tourism

Abstract: Aiming at people’s inconsistent understanding of the concept and classification of sports tourism in pre-vious researches,the author probed into the attribution of sports tourism from multiple perspectives,and revealed that sports tourism is neither simple tourism nor simple sport,but the special combination of sport and tourism,and provided with such complex characteristics as function independency,heterogeneity compatibility and function ex-tensibility.The author considered that sports tourism is more like a rising industry,should be attributed as a tourism discipline,whose item designation should be a complex phrase in a verb-object structure consisting of a verb and a noun.
