Abstract: The following report describes the pressurized -and boiling water loop of the Technology Division at Ispra.This loop is specially designed for the investigation of heat transfer to water at pressures up to 250 bar, and allows investigations of test sections of realistic dimensions with a maximum power input of 3.0 MW.The detailed description of all elements of the loop demonstrates its great versatility.
