Abstract: The excavations at Alcáçova de Santarém from 1983 to 1991 brought up to light an enormous group of Roman republican amphorae. We will start its study by publishing the amphorae of the classe 32 (Dressel 18/Mañá C2) integrated with their stratigraphic contexts. The fish sauces importation started aproximately in the middle of the second century BC and continued during the first century BC till the Augustan period.Nevertheless the importation's peak seem to have occured between 60 and 30 BC when Santarém, Scallabis, was a military camp and then a Roman colony.
