Abstract: RESUMO As relações complementares e adversativas entre filosofia e religião demarcam um longo período histórico e englobam diversos pensadores. Ludwig Feuerbach se destaca como um dos autores mais importantes desta temática e a sua crítica à religião tanto comporta uma analítica metodológica, apontando para a prerrogativa material da história humana, como se volta para a constituição cognoscitiva do ser humano, a ser preenchido subjetivamente por um humanismo de elevada carga antropomórfica. O objetivo central deste artigo foi apresentar alguns elementos teóricos sobre isso, centrando-se na relação entre o pensamento de Ludwig Feuerbach e a filosofia iluminista alemã da sua época. RESUMEN Las relaciones complementarias y adversativas entre filosofía y religión marcan un largo período histórico e incluyen a varios pensadores. Ludwig Feuerbach se destaca como uno de los autores más importantes de este tema y su crítica a la religión incluye tanto una analítica metodológica, que apunta a la prerrogativa material de la historia humana, como a la constitución cognitiva del ser humano, que debe ser subjetivamente completada por un humanismo de elevada carga antropomórfica. El objetivo principal de este artículo fue presentar algunos elementos teóricos sobre el tema, enfocándose en la relación entre el pensamiento de Ludwig Feuerbach y la filosofía iluminista alemana de su época.
