Abstract: Due to the world’s population growth, the demand for pork meat has significantly increased in the last few years leading to an increase in pig farming and consequently to an increase in the generation of waste. When the waste is not treated and is dumped in the nature, it becomes a component to the soil and water contamination. This report aims to describe the activities developed in the compulsory training final. Among the principal activities it was done the environmental licensing process assistance, involving the Previous License, Installation and Operation, besides the inspection of the places, studies of the forwarded processes and the laws that regulate the environmental licensing. The principal conclusion was the fact that the environmental is essentially important in order to avoid the wide polluting potential which the waste represents whether by the inappropriate place constructions or by the inadequate discards in the soil and water.
