Year: 2020
Type: article
Abstract: The systemic transformations that are taking place in all spheres of both Russian and global society are creating new challenges for a new reality, where the main competitive advantage will be knowledge and the ability to innovate. As you know, it is the younger generation that is most capable of innovation. In this regard, the study of the formation and development of innovative potential inside an educational institution is particularly relevant. The main conclusions are based on long-term sociological research (from 2011 to 2020) conducted by the author, the main purpose of which is to study the scientific and innovative potential of students, the degree of their involvement, forms and mechanisms of motivation and stimulation. The author concludes that in the views of young people about the value of science, the association with life success dominates, but scientific activity is not perceived as a trajectory of permanent success, as well as the directions of the development of the system of state regulation of scientific and innovative activity of University students are determined.
