Abstract: The Single Party Period is one of the most lively periods of local journal publishing in Balıkesir. Seven different journals such as Çağlayan, Irmak, Gençleryolu, Kaynak, Alkım, Enerji and Ege were published in a city that is not wide like Balıkesir. History articles in the aforementioned journals are quite remarkable both in terms of quality and quantity. Because history is the field where the most articles are published, apart from literatüre and fine arts, and the care in the articles about history is above average among all articles. Considering that the field with the most articles published in the journals is history, this means both authors and readers are sensitive and enthusiastic about history. Within the framework of the sensitivity pointed out in this study, the subjects around which the historical essays gathered, the qualities and quantities of these articles were analyzed and the articles in question were examined.
