Regional Economic Growth Analysis: A Comparative Study Between Regions in Indonesia

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to analyse regional economic growth in 6 (six) provinces in Java. The research method uses descriptive analysis, with analysis tools using panel data. The results of this study are 1) Total population, education index and agricultural output have a significant effect while the consumption of electrical energy sources does not have a significant effect on the GRDP of the Province in Java Island; and 2) Unemployment rate, inflation rate, poverty rate and government expenditure have a significant effect on economic growth.
