Abstract: In the present work, the finite element method was used to investigate residual stresses in multi-material systems during fabrication.A three-dimensional numerical model was designed to examine the impact of defects at the metal-ceramic interface.Additionally, this model facilitates the analysis of crack behavior originating in ceramic materials.The study extends its scope to explore the effects of crack-interface interaction, crack-defect interaction, and crack size on stress intensity factors.
