Integrating Blockchain Technology into Telemedicine: A Framework for Enhancing Data Privacy and Security

Abstract: In this paper, we propose a conceptual model to combine both blockchain and telemedicine practices to increase data privacy for business systems. Due to the importance of employing secure telemedicine data management, this study aims at filling in the gap within research on blockchain effect with a focus on literature review and case study. The research analyses blockchain attributes relevant to telemedicine, examines the data privacy and security issues faced today, and presents a new solution framework. After conducting an exhaustive literature review and performing a SWOT analysis on the existing telemedicine platforms leveraging blockchain, this paper proposes a theoretical model that acts as a reference for future research and implementations. This framework is a foundational tool to facilitate the secure integration of blockchain in telemedicine; it fosters innovative views and provides an organized method for managing poignant privacy and security questions.
