Research on a Relationship Between “attending” and Spatial Resources in Fukushima #1 Nuclear Power Plant Disaster Area
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This study focuses on the living arrangement of ‘Attending’ which goes beyond the binary choice of ‘resettling at evacuation area’ or ‘returning to the previous area’ in municipalities affected by the nuclear disaster, as well as the spatial resources that support it. It is suggested that the spatial resources supporting ‘Attending’ are imprtant to promote commuting to Tomioka Town, and will contribute to maintaining a loose relationship between the town’s operation and its residents, while passing it on to the next generation.
