Electron spectroscopy studies of argon K-shell excitation and vacancy cascades

Year: 1995
Type: conference-paper
Abstract: Electron spectroscopy combined with tunable synchrotron radiation has been used for studies of Ar K-shell excitation and vacancy decay processes. In addition, electrons and fluorescent X-rays have been recorded in coincidence to select subsets of the ejected electron spectra. Examples are presented for Ar 1s photoelectrons and KLL and LMM Auger spectra.
