Abstract: Quantum entanglement is at the core of quantum mechanics and many tasks in quantum information theory.However, apart from some simple cases (pure states or low dimensional mixed states), the mathematical basis of entanglement is not yet fully understood.In this note we discuss a new concept of entanglement witnesses a special class of observables -both from algebraic and geometric point of views.
