Reproducible Quantized Depth Magnitude Ladder: An Evidence-Driven Data Analysis of USGS Catalog
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This dataset and analysis explore quantized depth and magnitude patterns in the USGS earthquake catalog. The study includes a full manuscript, code used for anomaly detection, and 9 months of earthquake data mapped both manually and via application. Contents: Manuscript – Complete research description, methods, results, and discussion. Code – Scripts and instructions to reproduce the anomaly detection process. Earthquake Data – Full spreadsheet covering 9 months of USGS catalog data, including magnitudes, depths, and identified anomalies. Reproducibility:All code and data are provided to enable full reproducibility of analyses and results.
