Abstract: This Ethics Compliance Management Report outlines the strategic and operational mechanisms adopted by the ELOQUENCE project to ensure robust ethical oversight and compliance throughout its lifecycle. ELOQUENCE aims to develop state-of-the-art multilingual, multimodal, and context-aware conversational AI technologies designed for safety-critical and socially sensitive applications. In response to the unique ethical challenges posed by such technologies - including risks related to human involvement, personal data, and AI accountability - this report consolidates a comprehensive ethics management framework. Key highlights include the establishment and contributions of the Ethics Advisory Board (EAB), the development and implementation of the Ethics Compliance Management Process in ELOQUENCE, and the application of a human-rights-based evaluation methodology for AI systems. Drawing on insights from previous deliverables (notably D6.1 and D9.1), this document serves as both a reference for project partners and external stakeholders. It ensures that the ELOQUENCE work process towards the development and deployment of AI systems remain aligned with European values including fundamental rights.
