Abstract: This article presents a strategic approach to youth unemployment reduction in Lebanon. The approach named as Modern Technical Institute is a tool for developing technical skills through the short-term advanced program (in case of youth it is vocational learning). It is proposed a way of collaboration with industrial sector stakeholders, social policy makers, and government. Implementation of the approach will lead to narrowing the existing gap between the demand and supply in the job market. Innovating social and corporate approaches as MTI would contribute to the economic stability, environmental sustainability, and social development.
