Trust, Risk, and User Experience in Digital Investing: Evidence from Stockbit App Reviews
Year: 2026
Type: conference-paper
Abstract: This study analyzes user reviews of the Stockbit mobile application to understand how user experience influences intention to use the app for investing. A total of 2,543 reviews were collected from Google Play Store on September 28, 2025. After cleaning and filtering Indonesian language reviews posted in 2025, 1,559 reviews were analyzed using Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA). Several topic models were tested using coherence scores, and the best model contained two topics (K=2). The first topic relates to transaction processes and operational friction, such as account access, verification, and transaction execution. The second topic relates to investment support and financial confidence, such as ease of use, learning support, and helpful features. The findings show that user intention to use a digital investment platform is shaped by both operational reliability and perceived value. Improving system stability and support can reduce perceived risk, while improving usability and learning features can increase investor confidence. This study contributes to fintech and behavioral finance research by using user-generated review data to capture real user experiences and provide practical insights for digital investment platforms.
