Abstract: At the Navoi Scientific Experimental Station, cotton plants sown in a single-row method with a 76 × 10 cm scheme showed an average height of 83 cm and 15–18 bolls per plant. Due to the high plant density in this variant, a relative slowdown in the development of vegetative organs was observed in some cases. In the variant sown using the double-row Xinjiang method (76 × 10 cm), the plants were better supplied with light and nutrients. As a result, the plant height reached 90 cm and the number of bolls was 10–12 units. In this variant, the yield was 23 c/ha higher compared to the control variant.
