Axiomatic Structure of Accessibility-Constrained Dynamic

Abstract: We develop an axiomatic framework for a restricted class of finite-dimensional accessibility-constrained selection dynamics. The construction separates two logically distinct ingredients ofpairwise redistribution: the availability of a redistribution channel and the structural drive actingthrough an available channel. Rather than postulating a constitutive flux law at the outset, weask which features of the admissible effective dynamics are already implied by a specified set ofstructural assumptions.Within the class considered here, edge locality together with common-drive shift invariance yieldsa difference-driven representation of the pairwise flux,Jij = χij Φij (μi − μj ).The resulting representation does not select a particular constitutive response. Imposing universalpairwise dissipation instead characterizes the admissible response through an edgewise sign condi-tion. Under strict dissipation, the zero-dissipation structure is determined by the connectivity of theaccessibility graph, so that drive equalization is enforced within connected accessibility components.Unique asymptotic selection requires additional assumptions concerning forward invariance and theinvariant structure of the zero-dissipation set.A concrete four-sector realization illustrates the separation between accessibility structure andconstitutive response, as well as the difference between connected and disconnected accessibilitynetworks. The framework is formulated at the structural and effective-dynamical level and does notassume or derive a specific microscopic mechanism. Its main contribution is a logical characterizationof the features of accessibility-constrained redistribution that are fixed by the stated structuralassumptions and those that remain constitutive and model-dependen
