Replication Package for " Systematic Review of User Disregard and Human-Centred Design Requirements"

Abstract: This replication package is for the systematic literature review “Security Warnings as Risk Communication: A Systematic Review of User Disregard and Human-Centered Design Requirements.”The review examined why users tend to ignore security warnings and identified human-centered design requirements for warning design for web and mobile interfaces. Databases IEEE Xplore, ACM Digital Library, Scopus, and Google Scholar were searched. A total of 312 records were identified, of which 83 studies were included in the synthesis. This package includes the search strategies and documentation, Rayyan screening decisions, deduplication documentation, reasons for full-text exclusion, the data-extraction spreadsheet, codebook, quality-assessment documents, and PRISMA documentation. Three reviewers completed the title-and-abstract screening. These files are made available to increase the transparency, reproducibility, and traceability of the review process and results.
