This study addresses one of the emerging medical issues within contemporary Islamic jurisprudence, namely the printing of human organs using three-dimensional bioprinting technology. This innovation represents a significant medical advancement in compensating patients for damaged or failed human organs. The study examines the nature of bioprinting, its development, and the processes involved in producing human organs. It also clarifies the distinctions between bioprinting and human cloning, as well as between bioprinting and stem cell technologies. The research further engages in an extensive juristic analysis, aiming to determine the legal ruling on bioprinting and to address potential objections to the use of this technology. It also explores the rulings concerning the printing of reproductive organs and their transplantation into the same individual, as well as their transplantation into another person. The significance of this study lies in its demonstration that bioprinting may provide viable alternatives for patients by producing organs compatible with their own biological tissues, thereby minimizing the risk of immune rejection upon transplantation. Moreover, bioprinting offers a lawful alternative that may curb the illicit trade in human organs and mitigate the ethical and juristic controversies surrounding organ donation, sale, and purchase.
