The Effectiveness of the Correction of the Auditory Tube Opening With Simultaneous Endoscopic Ultrasound Disintegration of Hypertrophic Rhinitis

Abstract: This article discusses the effectiveness of the correction of the opening of the auditory tube together with simultaneous endoscopic ultrasound disintegration of hypertrophic rhinitis, and the way in which it is carried out. The use of endonasopharyngoscopy and endonasal surgery is an effective, minimally invasive method which makes it possible to choose the optimal surgical variant, preserving to the maximum degree the nasal cavity and the nasopharyngeal regions and their functions. In addition, patients with hypertrophy of the adenoid tissue underwent shaver adenotomy under endoscopic control. Juvenile angiofibroma was performed by an open approach, according to the traditional method. Endoscopic control made it possible to achieve effective hemostasis and the complete removal of pathological tissues.
