Note 18: Stationary gravity, Lense–Thirring coupling, and the path to Kerr
Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: This note continues the series of analytic derivations of parent formalisms for thenon-relativistic quantum systems arising in the temporal wake model. In Note 16 thecorrespondence EKG → Schrödinger–Newton was obtained for the bosonic scalar sector. In Note 17 the fermionic analogue was established: Einstein–Dirac → Pauli/Schrödinger–Newton, with a separation between gravitational spin–orbit coupling and gravitomagneticLense–Thirring coupling. In the present note the formalism of Note 17 is extended to thestationary case: the shift vector βi is introduced in the 3+1 metric, the linearized Einsteinequations for βi are derived in harmonic gauge, the gravitomagnetic field is computed, andexplicit expressions for the orbital and spin couplings are obtained. Three qualitativelydistinct effects are separated: spin precession, orbital nodal precession, and frame-draggingangular velocity. The relation to the exact Kerr solution as the nonlinear completion ofthe rotating vacuum sector is noted. A GR benchmark for future causet reconstruction ofa stationary metric is formulated. The value J is not derived from the causet model; thetransition (C,≺) → Jrec, βrec remains an open problem.
