Economia Social e Solidária e COVID-19 no Uruguai: Estratégias de adequação e incertezas das organizações da economia social e solidaria em tempos de emergência sanitária

Abstract: This document seeks to recognize a set of practices and experiences of organizations in the field of social and solidarity economy in the framework of the health emergency of COVID 19, in relation to four dimensions; political, economic, social and inter-cooperation. The survey involved second-degree entities from this sectors. The health emergency caused alterations in some of the entities of social and solidarity economy aspects, ranging from the expansion of participation in territorial organizations, difficulties in its social mobilization, and questions about the new political and economic context. In this context of crisis, the resilience of collective organizations and the hierarchization of the people as the center of social and economic framework are recognized. Some challenges are identified for the field of social and solidarity economy agenda to be worked, such as seeking connections between the entities involved.
