Abstract: Leadership training offers an opportunity to introduce responsibility, discipline, role modelling, and self-management to students. This article describes the training content and its relevance to Islamic leadership character development during an activity conducted on 4 September 2026 at SMA Negeri 2 Sangatta Utara, attended by approximately 230–250 tenth-grade students. A descriptive activity-report approach was used, based on analysis of the presentation materials and interpretation through Islamic Religious Education and Islamic Educational Management perspectives. Topics included the difference between a leader and leadership, self-leadership, role modelling, self-reflection, and a personal SWOT exercise for action planning. Document analysis suggests conceptual alignment with trustworthiness, responsibility, discipline, consultation, and exemplary conduct. Changes in student behaviour cannot yet be established because systematic observation and post-event evaluation data were unavailable. Training can serve as an initial intervention when accompanied by sustained practice and school-based evaluation.
