Collaborative Creativity for Environmental Awareness and Sustainable Behaviors in Early Childhood
Year: 2026
Type: dataset
Abstract: This dataset is associated with the study titled “Collaborative Creativity for Environmental Awareness and Sustainable Behaviors in Early Childhood.”The study employed an action research design involving 34 preschool children aged 60–72 months, divided into two implementation groups (n = 18 and n = 16). Over six weeks, the children participated in sustainability-themed collaborative creativity activities designed to support environmental awareness, collaborative problem-solving, and sustainability-related behaviors. Data were collected using the Environmental Awareness Test (EAT), Environmental Awareness Observation Form (EAOF), and researcher field notes (RFN). EAT scores were analyzed using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test, EAOF data were summarized using descriptive frequencies and percentages, and researcher field notes were examined through content analysis. The dataset supports the quantitative and qualitative findings reported in the associated manuscript. All data have been anonymised, and no directly identifying information about the participating children is included in the publicly shared files.
