Abstract: Cloud computing is rapidly diffusing among individuals for personal use. By reviewing extant literature on individual adoption and use of information technology, this research develops a theoretical model to explicate the use of cloud computing for personal use. The proposed research model is empirically evaluated using a nationally drawn sample of 960 individuals. Partial Least Squares, a variance-based structural equation modeling technique, is used to analyze the research model. We discuss the results and identify areas for future research.
