Abstract: F/A-18 testbed development and flight research are highlighted in this presentation. The current focus is on stability, specifically adaptive flight control, but soon the focus will move towards stability and maneuverability, examining flight planning and guidance, adaptive flight control, engine control and airframe and structures. Later research will additionally review V and V methods. Current and future IRAC plans are highlighted.
