Abstract: To complete a doctoral research, which is theoretically sound and practically relevant, within three years is really a challenging and difficult task.Without the full and genuine support, in different ways, from Prof. Jan Elen, I couldn't have brought this project to a successful completion.Prof. Elen, indeed, I recognize with much satisfaction and appreciation the zeal and enthusiasm with which you agreed to supervise my PhD research. The speed and conscientiousness with which you read my text on the research stimulated me to work harder and faster.Your interest in me, positive attitude towards the project, motivation, suggestions, constructive criticisms, expertise, and excellent coaching have not only made the thesis as it is now, but have also deepened and broadened my knowledge in the field of instructional design and technology.Prof. Elen, I wish I could have more than ten pages to express my heartfelt gratitude to you for your wonderfulness, but due to space, I would like to leave that in the womb of time.
