Abstract: 6 Unlocking the Sharing Economy: Scaling Trust with Digital Tim Berners-Lee, the father of the World Wide Web, once said, "The original idea of the web was that it should be a collaborative space where you can communicate through sharing information".The vision was to develop an information distribution channel-the Internet-facilitating communication and enlarging the collaborative space.In a very real sense, the sharing economy glorifies why the Internet was created in the first place.
