Abstract: The hotel and restaurant business has a significant impact on the environment due to energy consumption, water resources, and waste generation. At the same time, restaurants produce a large amount of food waste, only a portion of which is recyclable. The excessive use of plastic and other non-renewable materials is also a key environmental issue.
